Welcome to Walt Sellers’ Blog and Software Developer Portfolio.
I am a Senior Contract Software Developer currently working at Virtual Outpost in Oviedo, FL. I started here in September 2001 and enjoy working with top-notch clients.
Prior to Virtual Outpost, I was a Senior Software Engineer at AOL Anywhere Division working on the AOL for Palm Team. While there I worked on developing C and C++ software for 3 versions of PalmOS AOL clients. In particular, an HTML-removal and processing library used on Palm, WinCE, PocketPC, and SUN computers. Furthermore, I acted as team lead for internationalization of the software. My team members were amazing and got a letter of praise from the localization department. The resulting code was used to deliver localized apps in many countries and was used to create CompuServe Palm client.
I have been in the software development industry since after graduating from Auburn University in 1989.
